I.  For Alberta law firms

Legal research, drafting, and contract review — in your office.

LawLlama reads Alberta case law, drafts your memos, and reviews contracts alongside you. It runs in your office. Your client files never leave the building.

Built in Alberta.

II.  Privilege, preserved

Your client files never leave the building.

Every other legal-AI product on the market takes your documents and ships them to a data centre in California or Sydney. We don’t. LawLlama lives in your office. If you unplug the building’s internet tomorrow, LawLlama keeps working.

That choice costs us a little convenience: you have to install something. It buys back the only thing that actually matters when a client asks where their file went — a straight answer.

  • Lives in your office. Installed on your hardware, not in someone else’s data centre.
  • Already knows Alberta law. Alberta and federal case law from the last 30 years, loaded on day one.
  • You can see what it did. Every question, every answer, every cited case — written down, so you don’t have to take its word.
III.  In practice

Ask in plain English. Get a cited answer.

  • Ask a question, get an answer with citations
  • Every citation checked against the source
  • Drop in a contract, ask what changed
  • Drafts the way you’d write it
IV.  What it does

What it does for your day.

LawLlama focuses on the parts of legal work where most of your time goes — legal research, document review, and the matter context that connects them. It is not a practice-management system, and it doesn’t try to be. Below are a few examples; there are more.

I. Research

Research, in minutes.

Type the question you’d ask a senior associate. LawLlama searches Alberta and Canadian case law, answers you directly, and shows you exactly which cases the answer came from. If it can’t find authority, it says so — instead of inventing a citation.

How research works
II. Documents

Contracts and briefs, read in seconds.

Drag a PDF, Word file, or a whole folder onto LawLlama. It reads everything — including scanned pages — and answers questions against the document in front of you. Every answer points to the exact page it came from, so you can verify in seconds.

III. Matter context

Knows your matter, if you want it to.

If your firm runs on Clio, LawLlama can see the matter you’re working on — client, opposing parties, file type — so it answers in context without you pasting things in. If you don’t run Clio, it works exactly the same way.

IV. Microsoft Office

Where you already work.

LawLlama plugs into Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel as a native add-in. Draft in Word and ask it to research a clause without leaving the document. Open an email in Outlook and pull a relevant case into your reply. The AI sits inside the software you already use, not in a separate app you have to remember to open.

V.  Getting started

Installed in an hour. Running the same day.

LawLlama is a Windows installer. Run it once on a computer in your office — an existing one, or a spare — and the rest of the firm uses it from a web-browser bookmark. Your IT person (or we) can have you up and running over coffee.
